HAP Tech, a subgroup of BRG’s Healthcare Analytics practice (HAP), is one of the firm’s largest and fastest growing teams. HAP Tech supports and advises pharmaceutical manufacturers on how to navigate the challenges and complexities of the 340B program as well as other areas of the healthcare ecosystem. Our team is the established market leader in data and technology solutions for 340B-related issues and we support an impressive client base which includes the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the US as well as early-stage biotech companies. Beyond our syndicated solutions, we also integrate and synthesize data to deliver unparalleled analytics and insights into various aspects of the 340B program and the pharmaceutical supply chain. BRG’s HAP Tech team is seeking a motivated Security Engineer to be an integral part of our Security team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about cyber security and possess both deep and wide expertise in the security space.

Responsibilities:

Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems,
networks and information.
Identify and define system security requirements.
Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.

Qualifications:

5+ years of proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content.

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.

Salary Range: $125,000-$170,000 per year. #LI-JQ1#LI-Remote
