Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Entry, Associate, or Experienced Direct Attack Systems Engineer CAMEO to join the team located in St. Charles, MO.

The successful candidate will lead efforts to develop Systems Architecture in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using the CAMEO tool.  Candidate will grow to be the MBSE and CAMEO expert and will work with Subject Matter Experts to define architecture in terms of Logical, Functional, and Interface Block Diagrams. Candidate will work with other Systems Engineers to identify and resolve issues.  Primary programs include the JDAM and Ground Launched SDB (GLSDB) programs as well as future programs.

The programs we support in Saint Charles, MO include Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) utilized on various military aircraft, some ground-based platforms, and other future contract awards.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Ability to learn CAMEO Tool coordination

• Establishing Tool usage processes

• Supporting setup of Tool infrastructure

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Associate: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experienced: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with CAMEO or Similar MBSE Tools

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Associate Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
