Brief Job/Department Description
RTX Raytheon Real Estate Services has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician at the McKinney, TX site.
Primary Responsibilities
The position focus will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair all infrastructure systems including HVAC, Chilled Water Distribution, pumps, motors, and frontend Building automation controls. In this role you need to perform as a first shift compressed facilities mechanic supporting plant operations. This role requires the ability to work 12 hour shifts in order to cover the site 24/7. Weekend work is required. Requires the ability to support overtime/ nights if business, schedule, or emergency situations arise.
Required Qualifications
- Expert level experience in HVAC and Building Automation Controls
- Expert level understanding of refrigeration cycle
- Expert level experience in pumps, motors, valve and actuator operation
- Expertise in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics
- Computer acumen to include strong understanding of the function and application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation
- Customer Focused
- Strong Oral/ Written Communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in order to cover the site 24/7.

Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Electrical, VFD's and motor controls
- Prior experience leading and/or team members
- PLC controls troubleshooting
Experience and Education
- This position typically requires an Associate’s degree or other 2 year post High School training and 6 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree a combination of education, applicable experience and/or certifications in lieu of degree may be considered
Desired Education:
- Journeyman level license in relevant field

- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools/sites that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
