About the role

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence (CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, etc.). Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Cyber Software Engineer II (Blue Space) for a temporary position in Columbia, MD.

Cyber Software Engineer II will:

  • Conduct Tier III Blue Space engineering for hardware/software installations and upgrades; network support; and technical recommendations for future operations
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor support
  • Demonstrate experience analyzing large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels.
  • Provide for a more granular and wide-reaching understanding of the cyber terrain that constitutes the DODIN network
  • Support the development and coordinate of products to JMOC leaders and external cyber audiences, and the broader Intelligence Community (IC)

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • BS-BA 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2, will consider: HS +11-14 Years with experience.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
  • Current TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a CI Poly
  • Linux and Windows Administration experience
  • Experience in gitlib, ansible awx, elastic/kibana dashboard, ovirt, virtual machine manager
  • Experience in Scripting: bash, linux (redhat, kali, centos, oracle)
  • Able to assist with strategic planning, policy, synchronization, migration planning, security planning
  • Possess the ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor support
  • Able to analyze large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels.
  • Display excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be highly skilled to adapt to emerging and evolving scope of work.
