Job Summary
The role involves managing Enterprise Account Managers for the healthcare portfolio across Europe, with a focus on sales planning and performance for the territory. The position is responsible for driving UPS revenue growth and retention sales strategies, developing enterprise account strategies, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Lead initiatives to drive revenue growth, increase volume, and expand market share.
Resource and People Management: Oversee performance management, career development, succession planning, salary administration, training, and staffing.
Customer Account Strategy: Develop strategies to win and maintain business, increase profitability, and maintain market position.
Skill Development: Identify skill gaps and developmental opportunities for team and individual growth.
Collaboration: Work with district, regional, and corporate Business Development groups to address account challenges and market trends.
Communication: Prepare and disseminate information to sales staff about district, regional, and corporate initiatives.
Qualifications
Industry and Financial Insight: Anticipate trends impacting UPS and customers, and make strategic recommendations.
Competitive Analysis: Understand competitor strategies, analyze competitive information, and suggest improvements.
Account Strategy Development: Define and document account strategies, evaluate financial indicators, and leverage resources to meet customer needs.
Financial Acumen: Interpret financial reports and statements, understand revenue and cost drivers, and apply financial analysis to support business objectives.
Facilitation Skills: Use creative techniques to encourage participation, maintain engagement, and resolve conflicts.
Cultural Awareness: Address cultural issues impacting business needs, apply cultural sensitivity, and stay current on global trends.
Supply Chain Knowledge: Understand supply chain concepts and recommend solutions to problems.
People Management Experience: Required.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent required; Master's Degree preferred.
Healthcare Industry Experience: Preferred.
