Position Overview

The FP&A Manager to own all aspects of planning, operations and strategy for finance projects.  This position is responsible for bridging finance, strategy and operations, and will have significant interactions with company leadership. As part of the finance team, this position will work with every department in the company and assist all parts of the organization in their growth.

  • Provide data-driven guidance to leaders on company’s financial performance, major investments and new growth opportunities
  • Support strategic decisions, resource allocation, and capital planning
  • Build and manage the company’s financial model and annual budget with functional leaders
  • Create and run standardized financial, business metrics, and ROI reporting
  • Improve financial processes and controls across the organization
  • Partner with accounting and provide support to Controller where necessary

Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

  • Self-motivated, organized and accountable, with ability to balance time and see projects through to completion
  • Ability to synthesis information quickly, distill important takeaways and tell a compelling story
  • Expert in Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Google/MS Suite user
  • Experience using data analysis tools (i.e. Looker, Sigma, PowerBI)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to utilize pivot tables and V-lookups as needed
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility in work schedule with ability to work longer days during month close and other busier times

Desired Qualifications

Preferred Education: 

  • 5+ years of finance and operations experience preferably at a high-growth company or business unit of larger company
  • And / or 3+ years of investing, strategic consulting or investment banking experience

Experience:

  • Experience using data analysis tools (i.e. Looker, Sigma, PowerBI)

Travel: Occasional Travel
