Redwood Credit Union is looking for an Investment Coordinator who will be a productive contributor to the Wealth Management department. The Investment Coordinator provides administrative support to Advisors in the Wealth Management department, while also delivering superior service to Members and internal team members in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.

This position will be based at our Napa Campus, in Napa, CA.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide phone coverage for the Wealth Management and Insurance Services Departments.
  • Provide reception to visitors and direct them to the appropriate persons, locations, and/or departments.
  • Perform basic and advanced word processing for letters, memos, reports, etc.
  • Photocopy and distribute meeting materials, correspondence, and sort and distribute mail.
  • Monitor, order and distribute office supplies and manage meeting room schedule.
  • Maintain department filing cabinets, shelves, and meeting rooms.
  • Maintain proper inventory of sales literature and prospectuses and keep current as necessary and dictated by industry regulations.
  • Assemble and distribute packaged presentation, binders and other reports and presentations as directed.
  • Make out-bound calls to Members for various matters.
  • Coordinate internal department and RCU information to Department staff.
  • Submit required trade documentation to the broker dealer to meet regulation-mandated deadlines.
  • Gather research data on companies and products being considered by department.
  • Issue and scan client documents as directed in regard to depositor accounts.
  • Organize paperless storage system for department files to ensure proper storage of documents.
  • Compile and update reference binders and orientation packets.
  • Coordinate community events for the Wealth Management Department.
  • Perform duties specific to reporting/marketing/operations as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • An associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in sales of investment products.
  • 2- 3 years of related administrative or operational experience and/or training required. Credit Union/bank experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Work environment is indoors, majority of the time is spent at a desk.
The idea candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree, with a minimum of one year of related administrative or operational experience. Credit Union/bank experience preferred.
Compensation: base starting range $23.00 to $25.00 per hour commensurate with experience. Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
