Job Description:

   

Designs, plans, develops and manages a product or portfolio of products throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of life.

Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages activities of exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master) and/or MG1s. Has accountability for a large multi-department area(s) or location(s) with significant impact on business unit results and delivery on organizational strategy. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization. Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Position typically reports to Director or above. 

Additional Guidance/Criteria: Manages and controls activities within a sub-region or Region; Typically manages 10 or more direct reports.  Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.

How You'll Make Your Mark

  • Leads and drives the approach for the end-to-end Knowledge Management and Social engagement strategies and operational product roadmap for one or more product portfolios.
  • Guides the portfolio team(s) in defining value proposition, customer segmentation, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to the market for one or more product portfolios.  (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/margins, financials, market share).
  • Ease of access to knowledge, defining content lifecycle (publishing strategy, content governance, etc.)
  • Develop vision to deliver an innovative experience enabled through Gen AI solutions
  • For one or more stakeholders, it leads and drives the synthesis of product requirements (PRD) into customer details through having intimate customer knowledge, and articulate business value and objective.
  • Align vision to product roadmap across all phases of the product portfolio lifecycle and business unit lifecycle (e.g. planning, development, launch, management, exit).
  • Leads product management team and drives the evaluation and assessment of the key operational metrics (ie: ability to define the work, readiness, enable predictability, with clear KPI’s aligned to stakeholders, quality performance, channel route to market and on time to delivery).
  • Lead and mentor to develop and grow within their career aspirations

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in service support and digital customer experience fields.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and global teams on large complex projects.
  • Proven ability to define and execute a business strategy that drives operational, and customer experience excellence.
  • Strong knowledge and search technology foundation and business acumen and understand the technology strategy in the market and evolution of market trend.
  • Exceptional team and people management skills, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
  • Exceptional skills in efficient solution building, performance metric creation and analysis.
  • Exceptional business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills driving business decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills
