Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Description

The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing various sized shade nets utilizing an industrial sewing machine. Previous experience using industrial sewing machines is required to be considered for the position.

Compensation Data: $16.00-20.00 based on experience.

Travel: None

Location: Dinuba, CA. Onsite M-F, 5:00am-1:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understanding and experience in the operation, use and maintenance of industrial sewing machines.

2. Understanding of how to set up the machine to thread and do small repairs as needed.

3. Stitch on webbing to borders on small and very large/heavier shade nets.

4. Ability to accurately measure sizes per each custom order.  

What you will need to succeed:

Education & Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Prior experience in the use, maintenance and set-up of industrial sewing machines required.

· Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus

Competencies:

· Ability to push, pull, and/or drag up to 60 pounds on occasion required.

· Good organizational skills.

· Good listening and communication skills.
