Job Title: Senior Head of Test & Rigs Americas
Working Pattern: Fulltime
Working location: Indianapolis, IN
As the Head or Test & Rigs Americas (North) you will be leading a team of engineers and specialists with operational and safety accountability for our rig test facilities in the Americas North region (Indianapolis sub-system and component rigs, Purdue/Lafayette and external rig test supply chain). In this role you will manage the maintenance, execution and business risks both tactically and strategically while maximizing overall equipment efficiency, utilization, and external revenue per the T&EE ERG strategy

What you will be doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- HS&E Compliance for RR-owned facilities and RR personnel at external facilities, including execution of Accountable Person framework.
- Scope of Accountability: Indianapolis Sub-systems and Component, Purdue, Lafayette
- External Rig Test Supply Chain including JV's
- Deliver Rig & Experimental test activity on time, cost, and quality – as coordinated across the divisional requirements by Planning & Control.
- Post launch ownership of customer relationship.
- Ensure maximum Overall Equipment Efficiency of rig assets/facilities, including all support functions.
- Ensure Compliance with relevant Technical Standards for Test & Rig capability.
- Ensure effective knowledge management through the use of knowledge capture, lessons learnt, and best practice guides for Rig Testing.
- Contribute to current and future test operations' requirements and support the budget and load and capacity process.
- Manage and communicate facility, maintenance, operational and execution risks to ensure business & ET&S continuity.
- Provision of rig engineering services (e.g. rig test article design) under technical governance and assurance of Measurement &Test Engineering.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in test and rigs, OR
- Master’s degree and 6 years of experience in test and rigs, OR
- JD/PhD, OR 3 years of experience in test and rigs
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrates sound engineering judgement and knowledge of the Sector Customers and Programme
- Demonstrates effective leadership & engineering skills
- Capable of building high performing teams and effecting a positive shift in attitudes and behaviours
- Understanding of Company Quality policies and processes deployed within the resource group
- Experienced in applying process improvement techniques and driving business improvements
