If you enjoy working in a fast, friendly, and top-quality food environment while handling everything from food prep to clean-up and catering for special events, Food Service may be for you. You may work as a deck or wait staff to take orders and deliver food and drinks across the park, while also managing payments efficiently and addressing customer needs promptly. Applicants should be energetic, customer-focused, and possess cash handling and problem-solving skills, ensuring an excellent experience for all guests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting customers with orders or inquiries.
Food handling and preparation for concession and private events.
Operate cash registers and process payments.
Deliver food orders to tables as runners.
Prepare food in a safe and presentable manner as per menu specifications.
Ensure completion of filling condiment dispensers, wipe down all surfaces, wash dishes, and keep all areas clean and safe for guests.
Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
Assist with menu planning and inventory management.
Set up and maintain cabanas for customer use.
Provide food and beverage service to cabana guests.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of cabana areas.
Coordinate with other service teams for special requests.
Responsible for the care, cleaning and upkeep of issued equipment.
Ability to work with a team to relay food orders as needed, communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
Participate in service training programs for safety, and customer service.
Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, and loss of property and safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
Complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
Maintain high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
Ensure all checklists have been completed and reviewed by the supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications & Skills
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
Knowledge of food and beverage practices and procedures preferred.
Must present a valid Food Handlers certification as a condition of employment.
Desire to work outdoors during all-weather types to ensure a wonderful experience for our guests.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
