The Raytheon team is looking for a Software Product Owner to support the Command-and-Control Communications Collaboration Cybersecurity and Intelligence (C5I) C5I product line and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department.  The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customer's wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers.  We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon a diverse workforce whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms.

The job location for this opportunity is onsite in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

What You Will Do:

• Manage, coordinate and support execution of scrum team scope and agile backlog for a scrum team responsible for the programs tooling and DevSecOps infrastructure including; Build Pipeline Management, collaboration across multiple development and deployment teams, continuous build monitoring and risk assessment of updated tools
• Provide periodic reports of development environment build health, including automated test status, static analysis reports for software vulnerabilities
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews to scrum team members
• Manage technical solutions along with cost and schedule including managing earned value

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations;
• Experience in software build deployments, containerization methodologies (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience developing software in a team-based development environment using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework
• Excellent communication, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Proven experience leading an engineering team, preferably using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework
• Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirements
• Prior experience with the C5I product line or other DOD programs
• Ability to understand command and control and/or radar technology in the areas of software design, integration and test
• Familiarity with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) and CMMI-compliant Gate Reviews

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
