Director, Head of Digital Experience & Applications

About the Role:

Are you an experienced digital leader committed to transformation and innovation? We are in search of a Director, Head of Digital Experience & Applications to oversee our Development and Digital Experience (DX) Department. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our global digital strategy and customer experience initiatives while heading up a skilled team of ~80 professionals across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate 8 cross-functional teams specializing in Agile Excellence, UX/UI Design, and business applications (ERP, CRM Dynamics 365, Subscript/Zuora, Integration Platform, eCommerce SiteCore/Magento, and MarTech Portfolio).
• Define and execute strategic goals for customer-facing digital experiences, leveraging future-focused technology to enhance business and customer engagement.
• Facilitate digital transformation initiatives throughout Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, and remote teams, guaranteeing coherence with the broader business strategy.
• Cultivate a collaborative, effective culture with a significant emphasis on leadership development, coaching, and managing managers.
• Oversee digitalization efforts in healthcare, ensuring robust support, education, and training initiatives.
• Work closely with senior leadership, including CIO, to contribute to strategic discussions at an executive level.
• Navigate complex stakeholder relationships with a high level of diplomacy, strategic leadership, and change management skills.
• Ensure delivery on our Must Win Battle “Fit for purpose digital infrastructure”
• Cultivate an effective collaboration with commercial functions and within Group IT, Enterprise Architecture, IT PMO, and Infrastructure & Services.

What We Are Looking For:

• An experienced leader who has overseen multiple teams and shaped digital strategy.
• Deep understanding of digital experience, business applications, and agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage change effectively and create a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Effective stakeholder management and diplomacy skills to align cross-functional teams with business goals.
• A structured and strategic mindset with the ability to engage at the senior leadership level.
• A technical background or technical program manager background.
• High focus on people management and leadership development incl. leadership of leaders.
