Here, you'll interact daily with our partners during the problem resolution process to support our customers and their operations, ensuring efficient locomotive operation and addressing repair-related queries.

 

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Services team in depot of Astana, you will be responsible for coordinating, consulting, and providing technical support for our customers in the operation and repair of locomotives.

 

What do we want to know about you?

  • Higher technical education (Mechanical/Electrical Engineer) or secondary professional technical education (Mechanical/Electrical Engineer)
  • 3 years of experience in servicing, operating, and repairing heavy equipment
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Readiness for shift work and business trips (~15%)
  • Knowledge of Kazakh and English is desirable
  • Experience in the railway transport sector is welcomed

 

What will your typical day look like?

  • Coordinating, counseling, and providing technical support to railway personnel on locomotive operation and repair issues
  • Working with technical documentation
  • Monitoring compliance with all safety requirements
  • Maintaining the working area in proper condition
  • Reporting on the composition, scope of work, and process flow
  • Receiving and unloading materials, placing materials in the warehouse
  • Issuing and writing off materials following established processes

 

What about the Work Environment of the job?

  • Working in high and low-temperature conditions (working in the diesel room, working in the open air)
  • Work in highly polluted environments (oil, dust, exhaust fumes) - Independent work on assembly and disassembly of locomotive components

 

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

 

Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.
