Sr. Principal Customer Program Manager
Position Overview
The position has end to end program management responsibility for 13.56Mhz based Wireless charging solutions. This covers responsibility from definition of customer requirements, execution and design-in of final system on customers products.
Job Description:
- Responsible to interact with lead customers and funnel customer requirements to large multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Work closely with the lead customer to architect and manage device requirements and certification for system solutions with NFC, wireless power transfer and security.
- Engage the global R&D team to achieve on time delivery with world class levels of quality.
- Responsible for partnering with the customer’s and internal organization’s R&D, Product Management, and Product Engineer/Test/Manufacturing teams to define schedules and resourcing for key deliverables.
- Anticipate and overcome issues to positively impact key financial metrics including gross margin and EBITDA.
- Candidates for this role should possess extensive experience and understanding of the semiconductor industry and the key competitive differentiators for our products including manufacturability, price, power, die size and system performance.
- Track customer issues on a weekly basis to successful closure with relevant cross functional engineering teams.
- Provide technical support to customers during all phases of product life cycle
- Act as the key interface to the customer. Able to engage with customer’s engineers and management
- Ensure requirements, change requests and problem reports are analyzed, feedback provided, features planned for and delivered as promised.
- Create and share objective data-based reports for customer and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is expected. A master’s is preferred. Typical candidates would have specialized in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering
- Experience: A successful candidate will have 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong track record of successful embedded wireless charging solution launches.
- This person will have spent good portion of this time as Program Manager for complex projects, interacting with customers and product management.
- This person will have subject matter expertise in the application, technology, development life-cycle and overall product planning of embedded wireless RF systems.
Requirements
- Good understanding of 13.56MHz NFC systems, wireless power transfer technology standards such as ISO14443, NFC Forum WLC specification, Qi, etc.
- Strong analytical skills
- Business fluency in English
- Project management / business development / direct customer management
- Experienced Manager with proactive and solution oriented approach
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong social competence and ability to work across and integrate multi-cultural / multi-geographical teams

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
