About the opportunity
The MDM Sr Solutions Developer is responsible for developing and supporting the master data management solution that will enable data-driven decision making. They will build complex master data rules, workflows, data models, and integrations to enable our business partners to control risk, improve quality, and increase the usability of our enterprise data.

What you’ll get to do
• Design, configure, deploy, administer and support the MDM solution, including third party enrichment sources, across the enterprise domains
• Integrate, transform, and consolidate complex data from disparate source systems into structures that are suitable for supporting MDM
• Develop and refine complex ingestion, data quality rules, data transformations, matching, merging and survivorship
• Facilitate technical MDM discovery and requirement sessions
• Write and maintain agile user stories, facilitate scrum calls and other ceremonies as required
• Responsible for on time delivery of assigned user stories and tasks
• Build data quality and data profiling datasets for quality assessments and reporting
• Develop and monitor processes and tools to analyze model performance and data accuracy
• Participate in code review, debugging and problem-solving
• Lead and facilitate code review, debugging and problem-solving
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with existing workflows, models, and datasets
• Design, develop, manage and monitor ingress and egress of data between source systems and MDM tool
• Employ a variety of languages and tools to query databases, create scripts, and marry data across multiple systems together.
• Document solutions for MDM data processes such as data transformations, matching, merging and survivorship
• Create Proof of Concepts
• Serve as primary technical SME for MDM tools and technologies
• Participate in architecture review
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data models that facilitate analytics solutions
• Assist business owners with standards, policies and governance rules
• Provide mentorship to less senior MDM Solutions Developer roles and business partners

Skills and experience we value
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math or equivalent degree
• 8+ years direct experience in MDM related role working with master data
• Knowledge and experience of MDM strategies and solutions
• Direct experience developing data movement, rules and workflows within an enterprise MDM, preferably Informatica IDMC
• Experience working with data profiling, data modelling & data quality tools
• Solid knowledge of data languages such as T-SQL, Python, Pyspark, Spark SQL and DAX
• Knowledge in enterprise data platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS, GCP, MuleSoft, Boomi)
• Experience using source control and CI/CD tools, preferably DevOps GIT
• Proven track record of quickly learning new technologies
• Ability to collaborate and communicate well
• Ability to make decisions and provide direction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Outcome-oriented with a proven ability to translate business requirements into high-level design models
• Can pivot between supporting the urgent needs of the business and the long-term roadmap
• Aptitude for problem solving, including researching, and recommending possible solutions

What would make you really stand out
• Experience with data engineering using Azure Synapse, Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with data modeling and schema designs
• Experience with visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
