The Applications Management Senior Analyst for Survey Application Systems will be responsible for coordinating communication, overseeing system configurations, providing technical guidance, and ensuring optimal performance of software applications related to Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) for all survey projects and the American Population Panel (APP). This role requires the ability to balance technical support with system administration and project management for research clients.
Key responsibilities include coordination and communication by serving as the liaison between survey project clients and IT teams; facilitating prioritization and coordination of technical testing and troubleshooting to maintain application stability and ensure optimal performance. Database and system administration by monitoring and maintaining Oracle databases for survey's applications; overseeing the administration, configuration, and technical analysis of the American Population Panel (APP) databases within CHRR Survey Suite software system; monitoring and maintaining the security, integrity, and performance of APP software applications and databases; ensuring data quality by maintaining data integrity, securing user data, and addressing technical issues as needed.
The Applications Management Senior Analyst will also be responsible for marketing and recruitment by managing, developing, and designing marketing campaigns to recruit members for the APP for specific projects with clients; utilizing a variety of channels to promote APP and expand the panel membership. Providing project management and client support by working with clients to design, program, and deploy surveys using CHRR Survey Suite software or REDCap, ensuring best practices for survey flow and data collection; provide technical assistance to clients, including guidance on targeted survey development and deployment depending on the client's goals; and support data analysis and preparing summary reports for clients after survey completion.
The Applications Management Senior Analyst will provide expert technical guidance on the design, programming, testing, and deployment of CAPI surveys using CHRR Survey Suite software framework. They will provide assistance in programming surveys in high workload situations to support the team.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; extensive experience in database configuration, system maintenance, and software application; considerable experience in a related systems area with a preference for in-depth knowledge of CHRR Survey Suite and REDCap survey software; proven track record in providing technical guida
