Description
Role Overview:
The Inventory Associate supports the receiving, inventory movements, and shipping activities, including off-site storage, in order to ensure consistent internal and external customer satisfaction. Duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading daily warehouse activities which include safely loading/unloading trucks, documenting inbound & outbound materials, storing of inbound/outbound materials and preparation of customer orders.
- Utilize the ERP system to ensure material availability in support of production requirements.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical cycle counts reconciling with ERP system.
- Manages the disposition of the returned sku’s in a timely manner.
- Supports receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material, and shipping requirements.
- Works with Warehouse Supervisor to maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing maintenance work orders for repair and requisitions as needed.
- Supports and upholds established Tredit Tire & Wheel policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, and safety environment.
- Provides coaching and counseling to employees by planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good decision-making and planning skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-starter, energetic, organized, and service minded.
- Ability to multitask and cope with a wide range of situations.
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems with procurement transactions, data capture, analysis, and reporting preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
- Knowledge working with Syspro or similar ERP software strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Regularly required to sit.
- Must be able to frequently use hands and talk or hear.
- Must be able to occasionally stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 15 pounds at times.
- The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
