Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Kelly Clarkson Show is seeking a full-time Senior Segment Producer to work with all day-to-day operations as outlined below for “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” This is a Run of Show position.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support 2 show producers in managing all creative and production aspects of 2 shows weekly
- Co-manage team AP and AAPs
- Train all new APs and AAPs
- Share in AP duties: Identify, book, and pitch compelling human-interest stories and dynamic guests. Provide research and brainstorm creative ideas for celebrity segment. Liaise with all show departments and external partners
- Prepare show guests: conduct pre-interviews, brief guests and manage publicist and reps on show days
- Take lead producing segments on a regular cadence
- Other ad hoc responsibilities to be assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of production related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Pilotware and all prominent social media platforms
- Strong knowledge/interest in pop culture and relevant social causes

Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. In accordance with the production schedule, it is expected that this position will work about 41 weeks with an unpaid hiatus. The posted salary range is reflective of working for a full 52 weeks and will therefore be adjusted based on the actual schedule & weeks worked. In the event that the production schedule changes, you will be updated accordingly.
