Summary
HII Mission Technologies is searching for a Program Manager (PM) to manage and grow a $170M annual GSA-AAS Defense Program and business area portfolio supporting multiple mission partners. This role will be a part-time schedule that will allow for a remote work.
Reporting to the Senior Director of C5ISR Operations, the successful candidate will oversee a team of project leads tasked with ensuring program performance and customer relationship management while also finding areas for growth and new business. This manager will be responsible for financial forecasting and performance. The Program Manager will effectively ensure their customer requirements are met or exceeded and their employees' professional development. Finally, this manager will work closely with assigned business partners in business management, human capital management, talent acquisition, contracts, pricing, and procurement to ensure all facets of their business are compliant with company standards.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for program performance management of the AFRICOM AOR Integrated Logistics Support (AAI) task order and business area.
- Maintain a strong customer-centric and employee-focused culture.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution, planning, cost control, invoicing, and collections in a very detail-oriented program management environment.
- Ensure hiring managers are aggressively staffing projects to keep pace with growing demand.
- Make strategic recommendations on the direction of AAI and related activities pertaining to the growth of C5ISR Operations and the AAI business area specifically.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team that is focused on rapidly bringing innovation and the best possible support to customers.
- Maintain and cultivate a positive business relationship and image of the company with local communities within the Indo-Pacific region.
What We Are Looking For
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Successful management of large task order-based contracts of more than $100M in annual revenue.
- 1 year of experience in the last 5 years supporting AAS task orders with specific knowledge of TARS, RIPS, TRs, and AAS invoicing practices
- A minimum of 5 years of IC operational and/or program experience and some special operations experience is preferred.
- An active program management certification in one of the following:
- PMI PMP or PgMP, or a Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC P/PM) Level 3, or a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management Certification.
- Strong subcontract management experience as the PM or P&L leader.
- Strong business acumen with program portfolio experience is essential, as is demonstrated strategic thinking that moves an organization forward in terms of financial growth and customer rea
