The Principal HR Operations Lead is a senior individual contributor who leads high-impact HR Operations programs, governance, and operating mechanisms. This role translates direction into actionable operational roadmaps, builds scalable processes, and ensures strong service delivery controls across HR operations domains including benefits, immigration, LOA/ADA, and HR compliance reporting.

What You’ll Do 

 

  • Lead implementation of HR Operations priorities and programs aligned with the company strategy and business needs
  • Own process governance for key HR operational workflows: SOPs, controls, escalation paths, RACI, documentation standards
  • Lead cross-functional operational initiatives across HR, Finance/Payroll, Legal, and external vendors
  • Manage operational performance metrics (cycle time, error rate, case drivers, compliance evidence completeness) and recommend improvements
  • Develop enablement materials: process maps, training guides, employee/manager communications, team playbooks
  • Serve as escalation point for high-risk issues involving compliance, employee relations risk, or regulatory complexity (in coordination with HR leaders)
  • Partner with Finance/Payroll on HR-owned decisions for earnings/deduction codes and related operational impacts
  • Support scalable global HR operations delivery models, partnering effectively with India and Sweden HR teams on local execution

 

 

What You'll Need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years progressive HR operations experience, with demonstrated transformation leadership
  • Advanced expertise in HR service delivery, operational controls, and scalable process design
  • Strong cross-functional influence and ability to operate with executive stakeholders
  • Strong systems orientation; ADP expertise strongly preferred

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program/Change leadership credentials (PMP, Prosci, Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Experience leading HR shared services or service delivery transformation efforts
  • Experience working in SaaS and/or data-driven environments

 

Compensation and Benefits


The salary range for this position is $121,000-$174,000 per year, which represents the base pay the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual pay within this range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. 

Depending on the position, employees may also be eligible to participate in a company bonus or commission plan. All employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited paid time off, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
