Job Description

This application is for a 6-month student role from January - June 2023. Resume review begins in October 2022. 

This role will support the lead of Customer & Market Insights for Customer Excellence & Operations (CE&O). The mission of C&MI is to ensure we are proactive thought partners to the team and provide agile, data driven insights to help inform strategic business decisions.   

Position Description 

Detailed description of role including but not limited to: 

• Provide insights through business performance monitoring 

• Support the data gathering and analytics to prepare for the Integrated Customer Planning (ICP) process, which defines strategies and tactics for the coming year.  

• Assist in the development and support of business performance trackers and provide insights to the business on performance trends, opportunities, and gaps 

• Support ad-hoc projects across C&MI 

Example projects may include: 

• Create and execute a plan for supporting key C&MI initiatives, including support for MS CI, and better leveraging competitive market insights  

• Establish a forum or process for communicating C&MI initiatives, learnings, and identify potential cross functional collaboration 

• Create a user-friendly process for gathering and tracking C&MI projects according to plan, work closely with the C&MI to ensure sharing of initiatives  

• Assist in the development of business performance reviews or ad-hoc analytics. 

Qualifications

• Organized and able to juggle multiple projects 

• Ability to work independently 

• Strong analytical capabilities and knowledge with BI platforms (i.e. PowerBI, tableau) ability to create analysis, document and train 

• Strong communication skills, verbally and in writing 

• Ability to deal with ambiguity 

• Excellent interpersonal skills/highly collaborative 

• Self-starter/pro-active/solution driven 

• Interested in process improvement and transforming the way we work 

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 

At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 

Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university 

Education 

• Currently enrolled in undergrad program 

• Previous co-op experience preferred

• Interest in continuous improvement and/or marketing (operations) preferred
