Job Highlights

 

• Developing market perspectives and market and competitor intelligence for LANXESS’ Industrial markets
• Strategy Partner for the Business Unit heads and teams for the Business Units Saltigo, Advanced Industrial Intermediates and Inorganic Pigments
• Supporting the development of BU strategies including respective roadmaps and regional elements and driving the implementation together with the BU
• Heading or participating in strategy projects in cross-functional/ international project teams 
• Selection and guidance of external consultants and internal experts in strategy projects
• Screening and evaluation of potential M&A targets as well as of portfolio measures

Requirements

 

• Completed education in natural sciences, technical or commercial fields, for the latter with a focus on finance and/or strategy
• Relevant industry and strategy process experience
• Several years of experience in a major strategy consultancy, or marketing, product management, technical sales in a major chemical company
• Preferably with international experience and an international mindset
• High level of analytical capabilities
• Strategic/entrepreneurial thinking 
• Unifier mindset, strong social skills to cater diverse set of stakeholder 
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
