Chicago (Avondale) family needs early morning nanny

A family in the South Loop is seeking a long-term nanny to care for their two children, ages 4 and 2. Care is required Monday through Wednesday, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Family will be in need of care for summer as well, closer to full time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the children for their day, including feeding, dressing, and getting them ready for school.
• Transport the children to school (the family will provide safety seats).
• Be kind, patient, and ready to become a valued member of the family.

The family also has a dog in the home, so comfort with pets is essential.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license - nanny can use mom's car
• A warm, nurturing personality with experience in childcare.

Additional Information:

• Start date: ASAP
• Opportunity for additional hours, particularly over the summer, for the right candidate.
