Overview
Gene Messer Kia is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are looking to add a qualified SERVICE DEPARTMENT ADMIN/JUNIOR SERVICE ADVISOR to our team.

Responsibilities
- File and maintain repair orders according to respective manufacturers’ specifications
- Acts as backup to receptionist/cashier
- Warranty booking
- Provides clerical and administrative assistance to departments as needed
- Must be organized and able to multitask
- Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner
- Handle customer follow-up calls and letters to maintain customer satisfaction
- Delivery inter-office items to accounting, corporate offices, sales department, parts department, collision center
- Update the customer’s service history file according to the procedures specific to the department’s service history system
- File repair orders as directed by service department management
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Automotive experience is a preferred.
- Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel and Word.
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
- Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Great attitude with high-energy personality.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
