About the role

 

 

Position Title: Analyst Airports Performance & Quality

 

Position Summary

The objective of the System Airports Performance and Quality team (SAPQ) is to ensure JetBlue is consistent with the company’s internal policies and procedures,

industry standards and recommended practices (ISARPs), and applicable local and

international regulations. The Analyst will report to the Manager and Senior Analysts, assist with identifying trends and risks, developing corrective action plans and complete reports. The SAPQ team reports out to Senior Leadership and other departments on items we oversee.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Performs audits with special emphasis on airport & deicing operations
  • Assists local Station Leadership in the development of corrective action plans
  • Performs risk assessments on audit findings
  • Approves comprehensive corrective action plans and performs follow up to determine the effectiveness of the corrective action plans
  • Based on identified trends, communicates company policies/procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations, facilitating fair resolutions and imparting quality expertise to all Crewmembers
  • Reviews past audit records and compliance data for trends
  • Coordinates the collection of documentation to support periodic regulatory audits or evaluations
  • Assists operating units with continuous improvement through the application of quality management principles
  • Interfaces with all levels of internal and external Customers, including executive/senior management
  • Assists and prepares presentations
  • Assists in program development and improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
  • One (1) year quality assurance and/or audit experience
  • Available for moderate overnight travel (up to 50%)
  • Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Are (SIDA) Badge for certain locations 
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship 

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Recommended experience in Airport Operations (Customer Service, Ground Operations, Operations Center, Cargo and/or Provisioning)

 

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
  • Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $58,500.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
