Senior Manager, Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility – EY 

 

The opportunity  

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility team, focusing on helping our clients with emerging technology in the ground and air mobility sectors, such as vehicle automation, connectivity, electrification and enterprise AI. This leadership role demands a seasoned professional with a strategic vision and a deep understanding of the industry's challenges, ready to guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies. 

 

Your key responsibilities 

• Oversee and drive growth of a portfolio of projects that include digital transformation, automation, AI, electrification, and other advanced technologies, ensuring execution of complex engagements that assist clients in the adoption of such technologies with safety. 

• Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of initiatives that go beyond automation, encompassing electrification, digital services and enterprise-wide AI applications. 

• Lead the integration of AI and data analytics into client solutions, ensuring that advanced technologies are leveraged to enhance safety and performance across various domains. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning our services to their strategic goals. 

• Drive thought leadership in safety-related automated driving and aviation topics, influencing the industry through knowledge of standards and best practices. 

• Navigate the complex regulatory landscape, helping clients understand and adapt to evolving requirements. 

• Mentor and develop talent within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 

• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives. 

• Lead multiple large-scale engagements simultaneously, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and client satisfaction. 

 

Skills and attributes for success 

• Extensive experience in the development, evaluation, or design of mobility technology within the transportation or aerospace sectors. 

• Expertise in leading initiatives that cover a broad range of technologies, including but not limited to automation, connectivity, electrification, and enterprise AI. 

• A genuine passion for helping businesses achieve the full potential of their data and technology investments across various domains. 

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and drive business outcomes. 

• Proven ability to research and provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts. 

• Insight into the drivers and barriers of AI and autonomy use cases, with the ability to strategize around these factors. 

• A willingness to seek for new business opportunities and help grow EY’s business in advanced manufacturing and mobility sector 

 

To qualify for the role you must have 

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field. 

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience with
