Director, Global Supply Chain Process Excellence (Hybrid)

Global Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the development and execution of fulfilment strategies throughout the product lifecycle, from procuring raw materials to delivering finished goods to customers.  It involves material management, capacity planning, logistics, distribution and inventory management with goals of guaranteeing material supply and satisfactory service level, while optimizing value in a global hyper-growth company.

Position Overview:

Insulet is seeking an energetic leader to lead and drive strategic initiatives and process optimization within the end-to-end supply chain. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who will drive the strategic vision and processes for logistics, warehousing, integrated planning, and inventory management. This leader will bring innovative solutions to drive multiples of capacity growth, improve “Podder” satisfaction, and improve costs by translating market requirements into efficient fulfilment plans.

This position will develop the Supply Chain Process Excellence team from the ground up and partner with stakeholders globally in Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other relevant departments. As the function develops, this position will be expected to grow the team to include senior analysts to facilitate the systems and may expand to other areas within the operations function.

This role is pivotal in scaling and optimizing Insulet’s supply chain and operations capability to support future growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the architecture and implementation of decision-making frameworks across supply chain and operations. Accountable for how these systems interact with each other and serve Insulet’s greater global business performance through innovative solutions for all functional areas.

• Process Optimization: Develop, implement, manage, and optimize best-in-class supply chain processes and KPIs to effectively support scale-up demands of a global hyper-growth environment.

• Global Standardization: Lead global process standardization and continuous improvement across planning, logistics, and distribution. Create and lead the digital transformation roadmap to drive scalable growth for Insulet’s global supply chain.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders globally in Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain strategies.

• Technology Integration: Leverage advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and responsiveness.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• As the function develops, this position will be expected to grow the team to include analysts to facilitate the systems and may expand to other areas within operations function.

Education and Experience:

• 8+ years of operations experience with a global organization.   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Administration.

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline a strong plus.
