Summary of the Job:

 

The Intern role is accountable to develop core skills and working knowledge of FNBO business practices and operations through educational sessions, straightforward projects, and other duties requested by the manager.

Responsibilities
Participate in corporate internship program activities such as educational workshops, social events, and community outreach.

Duties may include
Attend and participate in required internship educational sessions to develop and enhance core skills, industry knowledge, and key system and process understanding (as available)
Participate and/or lead the completion of assigned short-term projects, as requested by manager
Work with manager to develop, implement and complete a development plan, intended to identify educational opportunities in the organization aligned with interests

About This Role:

 

Partnership Operations-Specific Duties may Include

Credit Card Partner Training – est. 75%

  • Support training team with rebranding initiative for training materials and LMS platform (color concepts, logo integration, visual consistency)
  • Review training materials to identify content gaps and propose solutions to better position co-brand cards and reduce complaint trends
  • Assist with development of short-form live action video content for partner training and recommend integration strategies for video-based learning resources
  • Partner with Training Manager to work towards ensuring all partner training materials meet ADA compliance standards
  • Update and organize training documentation, job aids, quick reference guides, and resource library
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with Partnership Operations and Training teams and contribute to special projects as assigned

Home Improvement Loan Partner Annual Reviews – est. 25%

  • Conduct Home Improvement Partner Annual Reviews, including:
    • Review of internal reporting for performance and complaints
    • Investigate various online resources (BBB ratings, criminal backgrounds, licenses, registrations, etc)
    • Assess holistic review of the partner and decide whether to approve partner for another year, or escalate partner for potential termination
  • Management of Completion Certificates

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

 

Program Requirements

  • Must be a current university student or recent graduate with pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Possess leadership skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
