Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Business Analyst, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for Adventist Imaging, Adventist Medical Group (AMG) departments, and Population Health
• Develop new product(s) using AHC’s Office 365 applications (e.g., Power Automate, Power App) to deliver analytics and a list of to-dos to end-users on a regular cadence (daily, monthly, etc.)
• Develop requirements for a new analytical project after meeting with stakeholders and by collaborating with other analytical departments within Adventist HealthCare
• Complete and maintain data dictionary for all measures reported to Physician Enterprise leadership
• Critical examines results and investigate if data does not look correct or goes against prior results; escalate to Program Director of Business Analytics as needed once root-causes are identified
• Support Population Health’s analytical solutions as directed by the Program Director of Business Analytics
• Act as a lead project manager for all ongoing analytical projects and provide guidance to other team members as needed to ensure all projects are completed on time
• Identify areas of opportunities and implement new analytical processes under the guidance of Program Director of Business Analytics
• Mentor and provide necessary training to Healthcare Performance Analyst
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for Physician Enterprise’s leadership as needed

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’ degree required in business analytics related field (Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)
• Master’s degree in analytical field preferred
• Equivalent of 3-4 years graduate-level educational and/or work experience for building dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau and performing quantitative analyses to answer business questions
• Strong technical skills with Office 365 products, in particular Excel, Power BI and SharePoint
• Highly proficient at writing complex SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or another well-known tool (e.g., DBeaver) to derive business insights
• Ability to master ETL using a popular modern database like Snowflake
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is preferred
• Ability to utilize R or Python as needed for advanced analytics
• One year of project management related experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training preferred
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work well in team-based management approach
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills

Pay Range:

$77,313.60 - $115,980.80

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:

United States of America (Exempt)
