We are seeking an outstanding Policy Specialist to join our Market Responsibility team in Trust & Safety. You are a problem solver who excels in a fast paced environment, can create structure in ambiguous spaces, and can support influencing cross-functional teams to drive solutions.

What You'll Do
- Leverage insights from Legal, Government Affairs, and Trust & Safety teams to identify, propose, and implement updates and improvements to existing workflows and tooling.
- Support Trust & Safety’s production of transparency reports, including setting project timelines and priorities, working with cross-functional stakeholders to track dependencies and facilitating cross-functional review and feedback.
- Conduct objective and timely investigations into legal requests.
Who You Are
- BA/BS degree or similar experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a role supporting content moderation and safety issues.
- Passionate about building a safe space for our users and creators; has a strong understanding of the online safety landscape, especially issues related to privacy and free-expression.
- Strong project management skills; proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously across time zones. Able to facilitate critical conversations with ease and balance competing priorities.
- Experience in data analysis and producing public-facing reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; able to navigate complex issues and passionate about helping Spotify users and creators.
- Excellent communication skills; experience representing your team in cross-functional meetings and able to synthesize complex information for all audiences.
- Standout colleague with the ability to operate autonomously.
- Fast learner and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible and solutions-oriented attitude, adept at finding solutions and improvements to reporting challenges.
