REPORTS TO: Managing Director of Academics, Secondary
POSITION TYPE: 12-month
START DATE: Immediate
COMPENSATION: $74,604 - $89,525, Home Office Compensation Grade 7

THE OPPORTUNITY

To put it simply, you will ensure our students experience a rigorous academic program that increases achievement and better prepares them for college success by leading a team that creates high-quality and aligned curriculum, assessments, and professional development, while developing and implementing strategies to increase strong implementation and respond to organizational, external, and data context, ultimately resulting in meeting rigorous student achievement goals for both state accountability and college-readiness metrics.
THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
Vision and Leadership
- Collaborating closely with the Managing Director of Academics to maintain vision in Science and actively advocating for its implementation district-wide;
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of Content Specialists to create high quality critical resources and development for campus-based staff on urgent timelines;
- Hiring, training, managing, and arranging compensation for teachers in stipend-based roles in a manner that aligns with team and organizational goals and standards;
- Investing stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives, developing strategies and processes, and managing a team of content leaders towards exemplary student achievement in a fluid educational landscape;
- Exemplifying YES Prep Core values and committing to growth as a leader.
