DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the Logistics operations for the entire plant during the shift.
• Ensures departmental compliance with all appropriate regulations, policies and procedures (Corporate, Plant, Safety, Environmental, Quality, State and Local).
• Ensures the timely transfer of the correct materials to/from the packaging lines and prevent downtime related to warehouse activities.
• Ensures all the material transactions within the shift are properly recorded in the warehouse management and ERP systems to guarantee inventory and cost accuracy.
• Prepares the crewing schedule to guarantee proper coverage of all the shift activities while maintaining overtime at the minimum level.
• Guarantees proper training of both Reckitt and temporary employees.
• Acts as change agent and facilitator for new initiatives deployed in the factory.
• Seeks and implement opportunities to gain efficiency and increase productivity of the area.
• Acts as the area’s shift Emergency Action Plan Coordinator for any plant emergencies i.e. evacuations and fire alarms.
• Facilitates effective communication and team working between with the Packaging, Processing, Planning and Maintenance Teams.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Certified operation of different types of powered industrial vehicles.
• Good understanding and operation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with unloading, loading and transfer of materials.
• Must be flexible in supporting all shifts when needs of the business mandate it (including working off-shifts).
• Proven ability to work with different teams.
• Team Facilitation Skills
• PC skills in Microsoft Office
• Basic First Aid & CPR certified
