Software Engineering Manager - Input Insights & UX

In this role, you will support a team of engineers focused on delivering insights on input performance in Wearables, as well as delivering Text Entry mechanisms and input education.Software Engineering Manager - Input Insights & UX Responsibilities

• Manage a team of software engineers focused on delivering Input Education, Text Entry, and Input Insights
• Engage with partner teams and communicate cross-functionally to drive research and engineering efforts
• Create career development plans, manage performance, and conduct performance reviews
• Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with research, engineering, and management teams
• Help the team scale effectively: identify, recruit, interview, and hire new engineers

Minimum Qualifications

• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
• 5+ years of experience creating real time software
• 3+ years people management
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with input devices such as touch screens, game controllers, or prototypes
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or equivalent 3D game engine
• Experience with Frontend frameworks
