Senior Manager (m/f/d) Performance Dialogue

<p><br/>Our goal is the performance optimization of the more than 300 vessels in our fleet. To achieve this, you bring in expertise in the field, as well as a confident, diplomatic presence, to understand and align perspectives of different departments: to find the best approach for saving fuel and emissions, while ensuring that conflicting interests and consequences are considered, discussed and minimized. You will also make sure that our crews get transparency on their vessel’s performance, to enable them to detect and realize improvement potential, and as basis for performance dialogues.</p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement and continuously monitor processes to optimize vessel performance</li> <li>Align the above processes across departments and build a common understanding</li> <li>Prepare visualization and documentation of processes</li> <li>Contribute to the definition of KPI’s for monitoring fleet performance </li> <li>Enhance our training concept and ensure that sea personnel remain up-to-date concerning efficient operational performance</li> <li>Structure and provide, receive and process feedback on performance to/from our vessels</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Academic background in the maritime field, e.g. nautical/ technical studies, shipbuilding, etc. or another field, complemented by work experience in the maritime industry</li> <li>Seafaring experience is of advantage</li> <li>Wide experience in the field of vessel performance and operational efficiency</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of operational procedures on board vessels, related risks and possible consequences</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and diplomacy, fluent in English, German is of advantage</li> <li>Ability to summarize complex challenges in clear words and meaningful visualization</li> <li>Strong identification with HL’s corporate values</li> <li> Pronounced team player</li> </ul> <p></p> With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world’s largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
