Job Description

 

TITLE: e- Commerce Lister DATE WRITTEN: 10/2020

 

DEPARTMENT: Donated Goods SUPERVISED BY: e-Commerce Director

 

SUPERVISES: N/A STATUS: Non-Exempt

Mission Contribution:

To ensure the efficient and cost effective operation and stewardship of the Goodwill online marketplace.

 

Function:

Responsible for photographing, researching, listing, and shipping items that are sold online.

 

Essential Duties:

  1. Ensures World Class customer service.
  2. Performs accurate initial sort and grading donations.
  3. Ensures inventory growth, inventory maintenance and production goals are reached.
  4. Performs packaging and shipping to accurately ship orders and exchanges.
  5. Responsible for listing and shipping books for e-Commerce.
  6. Ensures good stewardship of all donations, through proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the store in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures.
  7. Ensures the cleanliness and image of the location and work stations.
  8. Minimizes accidents and Workers Compensation claims by making sure that safety and accident reporting standards are followed and preventive measures are taken.
  9. Keeps abreast of product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing through comparative shopping and/or research.
  10. Performs assigned duties within the framework of our Mission, Vision, Core Values and Guiding Principles.
  11. Attends internal and external training as assigned by VP/Director of eCommerce.
  12. May be asked to participate in activities and events that promote and/or generate revenue for the agency.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned by Director of eCommerce and/or VP of Donated Goods.
  14. Acts as a positive role model for employees in all aspects of professional performance.
  15. Regular attendance is required as outlined in Goodwill’s attendance policy.

  1. Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
  2. Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public.
  3. Must have excellent computer skills.
  4. Must have the ability to use basic office equipment.
  5. Must have the ability to research the value of donated items.
  6. Must have the ability to photograph items to be sold online.
  7. Must be able to take initiative and work well with little supervision.
  8. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
