Are you a seasoned cardiac sonography professional ready to step into a leadership role and make a lasting impact?

At CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions), weโ€™re seeking a Program Director โ€“ Cardiac Sonography (Echocardiography) to lead, innovate, and elevate our program in Austin, TX.

In this role, youโ€™ll drive program excellence, faculty development, and student success, while ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and evolving healthcare industry needs.

โœจ What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Echocardiography program, including curriculum, faculty, and operations

  • Supervise and support instructional staff across classroom and clinical environments

  • Drive continuous program improvement through planning, evaluation, and innovation

  • Ensure compliance with institutional, state, federal, and accreditation standards

  • Collaborate with campus leadership to improve student outcomes, completion rates, and job placement

  • Facilitate advisory board meetings to maintain industry alignment and relevance

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard faculty aligned with program goals

  • Support student recruitment and retention efforts

  • Oversee student orientation and faculty training initiatives

  • Partner with administration to maintain accurate academic records and program documentation

๐ŸŽ“ What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (required)

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching or occupational experience in cardiac sonography or a related field

  • At least 2 years of full-time experience as a registered sonographer

  • Proven experience in curriculum development and program assessment

  • Strong knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements

  • Certified, registered, and/or licensed in cardiac sonography or a related field
