THE JOB:

As a Food Server, you will deliver exceptional service by taking and serving guest orders with precision, ensuring tables are impeccably maintained, and creating a welcoming, elevated dining experience from start to finish. This role also supports restaurant operations through detailed side work and station upkeep.

THE STARTING RATE: $11 + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages

• Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach

• Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment

• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations

• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old with the ability to obtain proper licensure per New Jersey regulations

• Possesses experience within a high-volume, fast-paced food and beverage setting with a foundation in food service excellence

• Knowledgeable of menu offerings, including wine, champagne, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, with a refined understanding of proper glassware, garnishes, and service terminology

• Knowledgeable of standard kitchen equipment and safety regulations, and proficient in POS systems and basic computer functions

• Possesses the ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms to deliver elevated guest experiences with professionalism
