Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Instrumentation & Controls Technician  | Control Systems Calibration & Process Automation [PCBOCC0030029] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Pasco County Across The South East  Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services..

Seeking Instrumentation & Controls Technician candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Clients such as PCBOCC.  This is a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Control Systems Calibration & Process Automation Functional Area Professional - SCADA, Electrical, and Instrumentation/Controls Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a SCADA, Electrical, and Instrumentation/Controls (Instrumentation & Controls Technician ) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County Utilities Generally Located In CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East  Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Instrumentation & Controls Technician  | Control Systems Calibration & Process Automation [PCBOCC0030029]

  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair field instruments and control devices.; Ensure reliable data acquisition for flow, pressure, chemical dosing, and environmental monitoring.; Support SCADA and PLC operations through field-level diagnostics and configuration.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Instrumentation & Controls Technician  | Control Systems Calibration & Process Automation [PCBOCC0030029] (PCBOCC0030029) Candidates:

  • Associate degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Mechatronics; technical certifications preferred.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of hands-on instrumentation/control experience in water/wastewater systems.

Skills Required

  • Sensor calibration, loop tuning, PLC interfaces, field troubleshooting, electrical schematics.

Competencies Required

  • Technical agility, safety awareness, documentation, coordination.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

  • Assist engineers with system commissioning and performance verification.
  • Provide technical support for preventive maintenance and asset inventory.

Other Details

  • Field-based role critical to maintaining operational continuity and performance accuracy.
