Job Description:
Under limited supervision, the Executive Compensation Manager is responsible for leading the analysis, administration, support, and execution of both long-term equity and short-term cash executive compensation programs.
The Executive Compensation Manager will also be responsible for assisting in the design, development, analysis, administration, support, and execution of some broad-based compensation, special pay practices, and/or incentive plans.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead the annual long-term incentive equity payout process, including determining eligible population, what awards are being paid, calculating payout levels based on financial results, calculating dividends earned & weighted prices, preparing communications & trainings, and communicating awards.
- Lead the annual short-term cash incentive payout process, including determining eligible population, calculating payouts based on results, preparing communications & trainings, and communicating awards.
- Lead the annual long-term incentive equity roll-out process.
- Lead the annual short-term incentive roll-out process.
- Provide consultation on executive compensation matters and develop training and communication materials.
- Author and maintain LTIP and STIP master plan documents and Employee Summary Documents.
- Ensure accurate LTIP recording keeping in the equity compensation administration system (new awards, settled awards, etc)
- Develop recurring LTIP and STIP estimates for finance to ensure accurate accruals
- Assist in creating tables as required for Sr. Staff
- Assist with pay equity analysis
- Support other compensation processes such as merit, other incentive plan administration, salary structure maintenance, etc.
- Responsible to provide monthly documents regarding Stock Options and RSU’s to Finance.
- Responsible to check on any stock transactions daily to report to immediately report to payroll and Finance. Special attention on Key Employee Transactions.
Education and/or Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of related experience developing, calculating, administering, and executing long-term equity compensation programs.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong excel and Google Sheets experience
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of equity compensation vehicles, calculation methods, and administration
- Very strong math skills
Other Requirements
- Ability to work on a laptop or personal computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to use standard office equipment on a regular basis (phone, printer, etc)
