Senior Finance Manager, FP&A, Product & G&A

In this role you will serve as a finance business partner within Illumio's FP&A team, which is a highly visible and critical team in the organization.  We have full ownership of the company's financial model, resource planning, resource allocation and the overall use of cash.  This role will be critical in partnering with the Executives in Product, CTO/Security, People Team, and CFO G&A function to make sound financial decisions that drive the goals of these functional groups.

On a daily basis you will check in with business partners to understand business activities that drive financial impacts, update your manager, Sr Director, FP&A with any activities / changes to the financial forecast and goals while providing timely, insightful, and data-driven relevant financial information to support the business and maintain Adaptive Planning tool updated with all forecast changes. Assist us in maintaining all financial models updated with forecast changes. At Month-end & Quarter-end perform all accounting accruals, review, and flux analysis and during Quarter-end assist in the preparation of QBR and Board decks. Assist in any other project as needed by the company to drive our financial goals.

To thrive in this role To thrive in this role you must have supported in a FP&A capacity the functions of Product and G&A.  Advanced financial modeling skills (knows how to build a plan/forecast based on cost drivers/inputs/sound assumptions) with high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Energy and passion to build in a pre-IPO environment.

• Highly analytical with attention to detail. 

• Forecast accuracy and advanced modeling expertise.

• Adaptive Planning forecasting tool experience.

• Advanced user in Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP system.

• Solid overall business acumen including accounting/financial experience.

• Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain financial data to non-finance leaders.

• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• Must have great problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, understand business issues and be able to clearly and concisely put together recommendation and implementation plans.

• Experience in SaaS environments preferred.

Experience:

Must have key skills below:

• Financial modeling (built financial models based on key drivers and assumptions)

• AOP (has experience in building an annual operating plan)

• Forecast accuracy (can demonstrate with examples that show high predictability in results)

• Adaptive Planning expertise - user level ok 

• Solid understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flow)

• Understanding of Accounting practices including recording of accruals (debits and credits)

• Collaboration skills (examples of how they have collaborated with cross functional teams)

• Executive partnership (examples of how they have support and partnered with Executives and other Senior Leaders)
