As the Product and Experience Vice President for the JPM WM Client Onboarding & Account Opening team you will build scalable and integrated Client and Advisor facing experiences that make it seamless to establish new investment accounts with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Across web, mobile and internal platforms, for both self-directed and advisor-driven relationships, the AO team delivers solutions that are delightful to use and impactful for the business, while still meeting the requirements of controls, ops, and other stakeholders. This is an in-demand team supporting a complex product, responsible for making the first impression for the firm of what clients can expect in their wealth management experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate interest in defining a multi-year product strategy for opening self directed investing accounts, translating strategy into actionable deliverables, and energizing peers and leadership about those deliverables
- Define current-state pain-points and identify broader industry trends in the Wealth Management space to influence future state visions
- Generate ideas for continuous improvement and process improvements to promote productivity, efficiency, and increased collaboration across multiple scrum teams
- Lead the product development lifecycle by owning and writing detailed requirements that capture functional, design, and control/regulatory features. Conduct Discovery sessions to clarify and prioritize requirements
- Proactively analyze data to uncover insights that drive business value and impact including competitor reviews, market trends, customer demand, and user behavior. Leverage data-driven experimentation and measurement frameworks to ensure key results are on track
- Set and manage business/ user expectations and day to day interaction; drive consensus and accountability across all functions; lead project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations as needed. Serve as a liaison with other product owners and scrum teams across lines of business and across product structures to ensure goals and requirements are communicated and understood by stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5 + years of product management or business analyst experience with a strong analytical background;
- Prior experience in either the wealth management industry or building client facing journeys
- Can understand the details of complicated subject matter (technical system architecture, industry regulatory requirements) and communicate the important details to partners
- Execution focused and able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
- Strong partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships required to leverage parts of the organization when needed
- Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to act independently, demonstrate leadership and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast paced team environment
