Senior Vice President, Integrated Production
IPG DXTRAAbout the role
Today, consumers uncover, discover and engage with brands differently than they did five years ago, even one year ago. A proliferation of platforms, content sharing, lo-fi production values, influencers and more informs what consumers expect when scrolling through an average of 300 feet of content every day. Increasingly, consumers are looking for (and aligning by) content that aligns with their lifestyles, values and beliefs. They want to be entertained; and they want to be informed. Finally, accordingly to Pew Research, half of U.S. adults get news at least sometimes from social media. To meet consumers where they “live” online today, we are transforming our content development strategy and tactical executions. We’re looking for a leader to guide a production team – and clients– through this transformation. The Detroit office of Weber Shandwick is seeking an organized, curious enthusiastic SVP production lead, to join our collaborative team of brand marketing, public relations, and social-savvy storytellers. As the production lead, you will help lead us into a new world of content creation for an iconic automotive brand. You will oversee an integrated team of producers, content creators and editors to create insightful, “shareworthy” content that lives across digital, social, earned media and print. As the production lead, you will report to the head of the global account, working closely with leadership across all disciplines. Your role includes client relations and financial oversight. Soft skills are as important as creative and production chops.
