Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a vibrant and rapidly expanding company focused on the management of luxury apartment homes across the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our enthusiastic team.

As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be integral in ensuring that our communities are well-maintained and provide a safe, inviting environment for our residents. Your expertise in maintenance and repair tasks will guarantee that our properties remain in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property and respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents.
• Assist in preparing units for new residents, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Maintain the grounds and common areas of the property to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work, requests, and inventory of supplies.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform various manual tasks.
• Availability for on-call duties and flexible scheduling as needed.
