Position Overview

In this role, you’ll work both independently and with a team to provide top-tier customer service. You’ll take incoming calls, receive orders, schedule daily deliveries, and address customer issues as they arise. If you’re someone that takes pride in your organizational and multitasking skills, enjoys finding creative solutions to fill a customer request, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, you’ll feel right at home here. Once strong skills are shown as a customer service representative, you will have the opportunity to move to our concrete dispatch team. Our dispatch team works creatively to solve customer needs using the logistics and data of multiple systems and is the perfect next step for those looking to continue their career growth with us. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of the service area in Salem, Corvallis, and Eugene, preferably in the transportation and construction industry. However, drive and willingness to learn will give anyone the opportunity to grow with our team. By ensuring our customer connections are strong, you will play an integral part as we stand together to reinvent the way our world is built.

 

Wage: 21+/hr DOE

 

Location: Salem, OR.

 

Shift: M-F, full time. Some Saturdays may be needed to meet business demands.

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong organizational, customer service, and telephone skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and exceptional typing skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads, and handle problems professionally in a fast-paced environment, both independently and part of a team.
• Effective communication skills with all departments and customers, both on the phone and in person.
• Competency in basic math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the ability to compute rates, ratios, and interpret bar graphs.
• Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing. 
• Demonstrates the ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Ability to speak, read and write fluently.
• Trucking and construction related industry experience.
