Sodexo currently has an opportunity for a Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. A state-of-the-art hospital that serves the community by providing inpatient primary care, basic emergency services, and health education and outreach services.

 

In this role you will be responsible for managing the Clinical Nutrition program at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the General Manager the ideal Candidate will:

  • Serve in a leadership role as part of the Food and Nutrition Services management team;
  • Be responsible for managing and developing a team of Dietitians and foster successful patient care programs;
  • Maintain a visible role with client interaction, representing the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees;
  • Have a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team;

What You Bring

  • A registered dietitian credential with at least 2 years lead or management experience in an acute care setting;
  • Prior experience with a successful room service program is preferred;
  • Be an outstanding team player with excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills;
  • The ability to demonstrate skills to monitor and evaluate the nutrition program; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review while establishing and maintain standards of care;
  • Proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development.

Licensed for a 131 beds providing general acute care. It features a 21-bed emergency department, a critical care unit, and labor and delivery services, radiology and imaging as well as additional hospital-based services that are most-needed in the community.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
