VP, AI Solutions and Strategy

The VP of AI Solutions & Strategy will harness Generative AI to transform every aspect of our business operations. This is a rare chance to lead innovation at scale—5 million patients annually and $2B in revenue—at a company deeply committed to leveraging GenAI to reimagine workflows, drive major productivity gains, and eliminate operational waste.

Reporting to the CTO, you'll shape and execute the enterprise-wide AI strategy across employee productivity, customer service, patient services, billing, lab operations, sales operations, and G&A. You'll recruit and lead a small, high-impact team of AI Solutions Architects and Engineers and collaborate closely with embedded AI Analysts across the organization. Additionally, you'll partner with R&D to apply GenAI toward accelerating our understanding of disease and advancing new diagnostics and therapeutics.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and lead the company-wide strategy for Generative AI adoption.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify high-value AI opportunities and prioritize initiatives. Serve as a consultative partner to business units, proactively identifying and executing on practical AI solutions that address real business challenges.

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of AI Solutions Architects and Engineers to rapidly prototype, test, and deploy impactful GenAI solutions.

• Serve as a thought leader, internally and externally, advocating and educating on the potential and practical application of Generative AI.

• Partner with operational leaders and embedded AI Analysts to ensure successful integration and adoption of AI solutions within business workflows.

• Partner with R&D to explore and implement GenAI solutions that accelerate discovery in diagnostics and therapeutics.

• Measure and communicate the impact of AI initiatives clearly, using data-driven insights to continually refine strategy and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives, with a proven track record of achieving transformative results.

• Deep technical expertise and curiosity in AI, particularly Generative AI, with the ability to translate technical potential into practical business outcomes.

• Proven leadership experience building and managing agile, high-performing teams.

• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities; comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving complex projects to completion.

• Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working closely with executives and diverse operational teams.

• Background in healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or related industries preferred but not required. MD/Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent preferred.

• Passionate about innovation, with a strong commitment to making a meaningful impact on patient care through technology.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
