A Day in the Life

This role will be responsible for supporting the Cardiac Surgery Quality, Regulatory and Operations organizations.  Analyst will business partner with Functional Leaders and OU Finance to help deliver on key strategic priorities and financial metrics.  This role will help manage the overall operating budgets of each functional leader.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

•    Serve as financial partner to the Functional Leaders/Core Team Leaders and provide financial analysis and support/creation of financial plans/actions that drive business decisions and results.
•    Provide support in financial planning and administration, forecasting, and measurement/understanding of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, and Strategic Plan.
•    Execute standard period and quarter end financial close activities and support business reviews through standard and ad-hoc reporting and analyses.
•    Provide financial expense reporting and analysis, ensuring spending is within budget and company policies.
•    Assist in the education and development of business partner financial acumen and reporting tools.
•    Support efficiency/improvement of related finance processes.
•    Support and provide analysis of labor rates, supply vs. demand of project charging pool and processing of standard labor hours monthly.  

Must Have:
•    Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (or Advanced degree plus 2+ years)

Nice to Have:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize, improve processes, and multi-task, in a high-paced environment
•    Strong business acumen: ability to learn/understand the business and influence key stakeholders at various management levels to drive and increase value to the organization
•    Positive attitude, with a high degree of initiative and accountability
•    Motivated to work independently with limited manager oversight
•    MBA/CPA
•    Excellent written/oral communication, presentation and influencing skills
•    Experience with MDT financial/reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, OneStream) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$85,600.00 - $128,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered ra
