Summary

SRP is looking for a customer service minded talent to support Supply Chain, Transportation and Flight Services operations. The Strategic Solutions Services internship is designed to provide exposure to a variety of supply chain tasks and strategies within the disciplines of data analytics and reporting, budget and finance, organizational change management, project management and supplier management.

 

This position collaborates and supports company-wide business objectives providing customer service in support of planned and emergency work functions. The job responsibilities are challenging and varied. The intern will gain valuable Supply Chain knowledge, business acumen and establish networking opportunities across SRP.

 

Work Schedule

• Minimum 15 hours per week (20-25 hours per week is normally a good balance with school)

• Hours are scheduled during Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

• We are willing to work around class schedules

What You'll Do

  • Support team through data entry, audit, and verification (Supplier onboarding, supplier qualification, supplier diversity functions, corporate card administration, data analytics and reporting, budget and finance, etc.)
  • Support the invoice payment and invoice dispute resolution processes
  • Provide client support of various software applications to assist with requests and questions. Investigate and resolve customer, system, and technical issues in a timely manner
  • Gather requirements for department KPI reporting and dashboard development
  • Participate in SRP site and supplier site tours/meetings to expand knowledge of the overall operation
  • Gather and document areas for process improvement

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and the ability to interface directly with clients and colleagues
  • Experience working on multiple projects and prioritizing work
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain and information management within a corporate setting
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and exhibit a collaborative work style
  • Ability to successfully telework without daily in-person interaction
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Microsoft Teams
