We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a key position within Finance Reporting team.  Finance Reporting plays a key role in enabling leadership to help understand and make decisions around business trends and processes.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain software solutions using ReactJs, ReactNative NextJs and Java, implementing efficient algorithms, and coding practices.

• Design and build full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.

• Utilize Nest.js to create scalable and modular server-side applications.

• Implement and optimize SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.

• Supports business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities; addressing high-priority initiatives (for example, business strategy, technical feasibility, implementation alternatives); identifying short- and long-term solutions; and leading cross-functional partnership.

• Troubleshoots business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; directing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of working experience in Java/J2EE, NestJS

• 7+ years Javascript, React, React Native, NextJS

• 5+ years of working experience in SQL queries

• 3+ years of experience with Kafka or other high volume-low latency messaging infrastructure

• Cloud certification i.e. Azure, GCP

• ML/ AI experience

• GraphQL experience

• Retail Financial Services experience

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and be able to articulate complex technical concepts in an approachable way for broad audiences.
